Experience

Velocity’s Managing Partners, have been serving E&P companies with midstream operations in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma for over 15 years. Velocity has a combined 35+ years of midstream expertise and 60+ years of oil and gas experience.

History

Velocity was formed this year by Partners Rick Wilkerson and Mike Parker based on a strategy and track record of building lasting midstream business relationships with E&P executives. Velocity has partnered with Natural Gas Consultants, LLC (NGC) (“NGC”) to expand on the success of NGC’s High Performance Gathering System Designs.

NCG, founded by Mark Ward in 2004, is a well known and highly respected midstream engineering consulting firm with projects throughout Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Northern Louisiana. NGC has designed High Performance Gathering Systems for producers of all sizes including BP, St Mary’s, Forest Oil (formerly Houston Exploration), Goodrich, Winchester, Ascent, Bluestone, and Activa, as well as midstream companies such as Enbridge, Nexus and Prism Gas Systems.

Mark Ward • Managing Partner – Engineering

24 years of Midstream and E&P Industry experience with Natural Gas Consultants, American Central, Delhi Gas Pipeline, and Mitchell Energy;
14 years of Midstream systems engineering, project management, cryogenic and treating plant operation and pipeline asset management experience;
10 years of E&P experience including senior positions as a drilling engineer, production engineer and reservoir engineer.

Mike Parker • Managing Partner - Financial

18 years of experience in Midstream and E&P Finance and Accounting Management with Autana, Markwest Energy, Williams, MAPCO, and Amerada Hess;
14 years of Midstream Financial Management and Controller experience
4 years of E&P economic analysis and operational reporting experience
